We have more than three decades of experience and a client list comprising over 40 convention, meeting, and public venues; totaling more than 20 million square feet of exhibit and meeting space.

Business Principles & Daily Basics
Every day, in Smart City offices across the country, our team members participate in a “Daily Line Up” to discuss one of our Ten Business Principles or Twenty Daily Basics. We also spend a few minutes discussing possible obstacles that may hinder our ability to complete a project and recognizing team members who excelled in the assignments during the previous day. These morale-boosting meetings allow each of our team members to uncover new ways to deliver exceptional customer service and to work as a team in developing new solutions.
Sustainability
Convention centers, stadiums, and theatres are an important part of a city’s infrastructure. They impact the economic viability and competitiveness of the community, create spaces for the public to enjoy, and provide a forum for the exchange of new ideas. Despite the obvious benefits of a convention center, there are significant issues concerning transportation, waste streams, public safety, and other environmental concerns.
Green is Smart
Smart City is committed to an environmentally friendly approach to our business. Our commitment is more than just a corporate statement. Smart City is focused on three key objectives:

- Reuse and recycle
- Source sustainable goods and services
Reuse and Recycle
Recycling materials and equipment is something we work towards every day and one of our biggest waste items is the copper cabling and wiring that is measured and cut for a specific event when the event moves out. To address this challenge and to reduce landfill waste we have successfully recycled over 18 tons of copper cabling and wiring last year and over 70 tons in the past 4 years.
