{"id":1126,"date":"2024-08-16T15:04:39","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T15:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.smartcitytelecom.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=1126"},"modified":"2024-08-16T15:04:40","modified_gmt":"2024-08-16T15:04:40","slug":"active-call-options-mute-transfer-switch-phone-and-more","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/smartcitynetworks.com\/hvsupport\/article\/active-call-options-mute-transfer-switch-phone-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Active Call Options (Mute, Transfer, Switch Phone, and more)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When a call is in progress, the status, dialed number, and call timer will be displayed at the top of the screen along with the following call functions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mute <\/strong>\u2013 Disables the microphone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hold<\/strong> \u2013 Places the other party on hold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dial Pad<\/strong> \u2013 Enables you to use digits when dialing into an auto attendant\/IVR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transfer<\/strong> \u2013 Transfers the call with a choice to transfer blindly, without a call announcement, or with assisted transfer where the call is announced to the destination party.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add Call<\/strong> \u2013 Enables the user to create a second call that is separate from the first call.
