{"id":756,"date":"2024-08-15T16:58:31","date_gmt":"2024-08-15T16:58:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.smartcitytelecom.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=756"},"modified":"2024-08-15T16:58:32","modified_gmt":"2024-08-15T16:58:32","slug":"desktop-call-control","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/smartcitynetworks.com\/hvsupport\/article\/desktop-call-control\/","title":{"rendered":"Desktop Call Control"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desktop Call Controls appear when making or receiving a call.&nbsp; These controls allow you to see who is calling and manage a current call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><strong>Incoming Calls<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incoming calls appear in a window in the portal as shown in the example below. This window shows the Caller ID name and number, along with <strong>Reject<\/strong> and <strong>Answer<\/strong> buttons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Selecting <strong>Reject<\/strong> sends the call to voicemail if available. The three controls at the bottom of the window let you hold, hang up, or transfer the call. If you select transfer, a field appears for entering the extension of the recipient.
